Vulva la Vida (VLV) is a feminist DIY festival from Salvador (Bahia - Brazil). Its aims are: to take back the mics, the books, the voice, the tecnology and build now the society we would like to live in. VLV wants to change the micropolitics and daily life, questioning sexism, racism, lesbo/homo/transphobia within our community and subjectivity.
We think it’s important to bring women closer together but it’s also important to understand the power dynamics runned between women (and others non-normative identities). Consequently, there isn’t a natural sisterhood!
We want to have fun and destroy patriarchy!
